Had a dispute with another lawyer in my office. He claimed it was Rikki Tikki Tembo who fell into the well. I was certain that he was mistaken. According to my best childhood recollection, it was in fact Eddie-Coochie-Cochie-Comma-Toasted-Here-And-Toastd-Okra-Sama-Kama-Walkie-Brown who “fell into the well, fell into the well, fell into the deep dark well.” So sure am I that little Lucy [whats-her-face] ran to get her mother’s help, but failed to get the name out fast enough such that “Eddie-Coochie-Cochie-Comma-Toasted-Here-And-Toasted-Okra-Sama-Kama-Walkie-Brown, DROWNED!!” Can someone please verify this Americanized version of the Chinese story about poor Rikki. And what the heck was Little Lucy’s last name anyway???!!!

This is so tacky that I’m remaining anonymous. But I remember being taught this song in the early 70’s in “the hood”, where my aunt and her family lived. Of course, you remember the trash when you’re a child: Your left, Your left Your left, right left My back is aching, my belts too tight My booty’s shaking from left to right abracadabra, soda crackers, evolution, revolution eat the back of my butt, eat the back of my butt Your momma, your poppa your greasy granny, got a hole in her panties And a big behind, like frankenstein going beep-beep-beep down Sesame Street.

Great big gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts Mutilated monkey meat, little birdies’ dirty feet Seven thousand pounds of prehistoric porpoise pus And me without my spoon. All together now Scab sandwich with pus on top Monkey vomit and camel snot Put it all together and what’ve you got? A typical McDonald’s milkshake. (Sung to the tune of “The Old Gray Mare) (Circa approx. 1965)

Hi I am trying to teach my sister some clapping songs…. So far she knows a weird version of patty cake (Patty cake patty cake bakers man bake me a cake as fast as you can roll it and pad it and mark it with a “_” and put it in the oven for “_” and me. She also knows a version of playmate “Sisi my playmate, come out and play with me, and bring your dollies three, climb up my apple tree, into my basement and we’ll be playmates forever more more shut the door” I need help with the playmate song I used to play it when I was in grade one but me nor my friends can remember the exact words.
