I learned the rhythm part of that game from the “Zoom” television show (shows you how old I am.) You maintain a rhythm by hitting both your thighs at the same time with both your hands, then clapping once, then snapping with first your left hand then your right. So there’s 4 parts to the rhythm. While maintaining the rhythm, you say: hands up and 85 we’re gonna get the names of (pick a subject, like “girls) no repeats no hesitation no obligation so let’s go to the show ready or not here we go starting with… then each person has to say a girl’s name starting with letters of the alphabet. (like Allison, then Betty, then Carla, etc.) Until someone misses the beat or can’t come up with a name. The answers fall on the thigh clap and the next person has to say a name on the next thigh clap.

Concentration was more like a massage game u played on a person’s back while their eyes were closed. u’d draw and pound on their back and tell a story then push them hard enough to make them open their eyes or blink and they were supposed to telle you whatever color they saw before they opened thier eyes and based on the color u’d make up something good or bad in significance

I learned this in kindergarden a few children in a circle and one in the middle as you sing the song everyone in the circle holds hands and walks in a circle As I was going to kentucky I was going to the fair I met a cenurita with flowers in her hair “then everyone stops walking and the cenurita does what the song says but at the end the person in the middle closes her eyes and turns around until the song says stop and the person she is pointing at is the next one in the middle” oh shake it cenurita shake it if you can shake it like a milkshake and do the best you can oh rumble to the bottom rumble to the top then turn around and turn around until you make a stop…
