Okay, here’s a suggestion….

Okay, here’s a suggestion. Problem is, it’s not tongue in cheek, and technically it’s not losing money, more like giving it away. If you’re all about street games, take the money to the streets! Start with New York since that seems to be where many of our roots are. Have a city-wide street games tournament and exhibition – give prizes and award money! Get sponsors – that way they can lose their money too! Maybe make it an annual thing. Imagine streets of the City closed off to punchball games, stickball games, skelly (or skully depending on where you were from), jacks, jump rope, etc. If it loses enough money in New York, you can take the show on the road and lose money in other urban areas.

One way to loose money is to have a very important business meeting to discuss the future of play. Invite business associates to a Focus Group discussion where the bottles of red wine flow freely. I can hold my own, both in conversation and drink and think we could definately help reach your biz goals this quarter.

if you want to lose money…

if you want to lose money open a great school. Pay the teachers adequately.Or pay them what athletes and superstar actors get. If you need to lose more money, franchise the idea! Just think, excellent schools in every state, where teachers are paid great salaries. This money losing idea is so fantastic, the government might get wind of it! But the government already knows how to lose billions on war-oriented, death oriented enterprises. Let’s give money losing opportunities in life-oriented, hope oriented, help-oriented and education-affirming projects.

Celan, We have great respect for the teaching profession and appreciate that you are good at losing money (with the y even). But the question is, How can we lose lots of money? Not small time stuff – we need to lose millions to get really big. Any thoughts?

I am great at losing mone! I even lost the y on that M word. After all, I’m a teacher,a member of the hardest working, all-for-love and no money profession. We do it for the kids, and for the feeling that we make a difference (even while starving).

To aid in losing money faster, I suggest hiring me as Vice President of Doing Nothing at an annual salary of $250,000 + bonus incentives if I do really well at doing nothing.

Well, nowadays, it seems the best way to throw money out the window via the Internet is to go MULTIMEDIA! What is that, you say? Lots of video clips with a side dish of sound bites with an extra heavy serving of graphics. Download times would be outrageous but that old axiom still applies today, even on the Internet, “good things come to those who wait”. The longer the wait, the more desireable it is to see what the hell you’re actually downloading. You could have thousands of people on your site at any given time trying to download a 5 minute clip of you swinging at a ball with a broom stick. Isn’t that great?! Any communications company or Internet Provider would be an absolute fool not to dive head first into this pool. The losses in the first year alone would be enough to bankrupt small countries (and nowadays, even some larger ones). It’s easier and quicker than getting a loan from a bank nowadays and the best part is – YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY IT BACK! It’s a business loss And A TAX WRITE-OFF! GOD I love this country.
