One mornin’ I woke up …
I did not wish to steal…
I went to Mrs.(make up a name)and asked her for a meal.
She looked at me…I looked at her.
She thought I was a thief.
She brought me in and sat me down…but darned if I could eat.
The roaches on the table,the pig behind the door…and (make up a name)’s face in noodlesoup but darned if that was all!
Next mornin’ I woke up…I looked upon the wall-the bed bugs and the roaches were havin’ a game of ball.
The score was 19 – 20 the roaches were ahead…a bedbug hit a homer and knocked me outta bed!
