I work at an elementary school and all they play is big mac. The don’t know jack be nimble, hey miss be, gypse gyps, 10,20 and more. I started teaching them Jack be nimble. Can anyone remember any of the other double dutch games? In my day we played 10 20, with the rope getting faster after 100. I tried to teach them D0SH, but they can’t jump fast. I’m from Australia. We just called this game elastics. The main rhyme i remember is “England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, inside, outside, inside, on”. The “England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales” bit was sung whilst jumping each rope (left, right, left, right) and then inside, outside, inside and finally “on” the ropes. When it got to underarms we also did things like handstanding up and over the ropes and had three people holding the elastic instead of two.
