Streetplay Discussion Archive Posted on December 15, 1999 by Streetplay DiscussionsDecember 15, 1999

Stanley K., didn’t people accumulate the letters S-P-U-D one by one every time they got hit with the ball? Once you’ve got all the letters to spell SPUD, you’re out. Isn’t that right? Did I leave anything out? (Feels like I might have.)

Streetplay Discussion Archive Posted on December 13, 1999 by Streetplay DiscussionsDecember 13, 1999

I have a miniature breadbox full of plastic charms from the Fifties. Among them are Jackie Robinson’s photo, a hamburger, the usual animals. I had my Mothers before I collected, but unfortunately was so young that I managed to lose them all. Well, does anyone trade or know of a trading site or buying site?? It is great to know others love them!

For Stanley Kriss …

Streetplay Discussion Archive Posted on December 12, 1999 by Streetplay DiscussionsDecember 12, 1999

For Stanley Kriss We used to call your stick-ball game”hit the bat”.If the batter caught the ball when it popped up before it hit the ground,he continued to bat, otherwise the kid who rolled the ball became the batter.

If you go to the streetplay.com…

Streetplay Discussion Archive Posted on December 11, 1999 by Streetplay DiscussionsNovember 13, 2014

If you go to the streetplay.com home page, you will see a banner toward the upper right of the screen for our Streetplay Store. Click on the banner, then click on the pogo stick link which will take you to Online Sports. There’s a little search engine window there. Type in “Nok Hockey” and you will find two very nice sets made by Olympia Sports. If you shop through our site, it will be greatly appreciated since we get a small commission for page views and purchases. Thanks, and have fun. Any questions, let me know.

Streetplay Discussion Archive Posted on December 11, 1999 by Streetplay DiscussionsDecember 11, 1999

That reminds me of a little poem my dad used to recite to me: A flea and a fly in a flue Were imprisoned, so what could they do? Said the flea, “Let us fly;” Said the fly, “Let us flee;” So they flew through a flaw in the flue.
